Wrestling as a Black Kid January 31, 2008 on Flowrestling: "Kenny Monday was one of America's best wrestlers. In High School he was a phenom and went undefeated (from grades 7-12). He decided to go to Oklahoma State for college where he was coached by Tommy Chesbrow. By his senior year he was a national champion but always knew his ultimate goal was a gold medal. He had to go through one of the most legendary wrestlers just to make the Olympic Team, Dave Schultz. He did so and became the 1988 Gold Medalist.
